Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tefteri mobile application ("App") provided by Tefteri ("we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Tefteri is a personal finance tracking application for iOS that allows you to record income, expenses, taxes, and budgets. The App is a tool for personal financial record-keeping — it is not a financial advisor, accountant, or tax preparation service.

2. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

Free Tier

The App is available for free with core finance tracking features as described on our website and App Store listing.

Tefteri Pro

A premium upgrade available through Apple's StoreKit with three purchase options:

  • Monthly: €2.49/month auto-renewable subscription
  • Yearly: €14.99/year auto-renewable subscription
  • Lifetime: €29.99 one-time non-consumable purchase (permanent access)

All three options grant the same Pro features. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your iPhone's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. The lifetime option is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access with no recurring charges. All purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's standard refund policies.

4. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not directly handle any payment information.

For refund requests, please contact Apple Support or use the "Report a Problem" feature on your App Store receipt. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's refund policies.

5. Your Data

Ownership: You retain full ownership of all financial data you enter into the App.

Storage: Your data is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, in your private iCloud account. We do not store your financial data on our servers.

Portability: You can export your data at any time using the in-app backup feature (JSON format) or, with Tefteri Pro, as CSV or PDF.

Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data through Settings → Delete Account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Distribute, sell, or sublicense the App
  • Use automated systems to interact with the App

7. Disclaimers

Not Financial Advice. Tefteri is a record-keeping and tracking tool. Nothing in the App constitutes financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. The App's insights, calculations, and summaries are based solely on data you enter and may contain errors. Always consult qualified professionals for financial and tax decisions.

No Guarantee of Accuracy. While we strive for accuracy in calculations, we do not guarantee that the App's computations, reports, or insights are error-free. You are responsible for verifying important financial information independently.

Tax Information. The App's tax tracking features (ENFIA, Income Tax, Accountant) are for personal record-keeping only. They do not constitute tax returns, tax filings, or official tax documents. Consult a qualified accountant or tax professional for tax compliance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on information displayed in the App
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid for Tefteri Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €0 if you use the free tier

9. Intellectual Property

The Tefteri name, logo, brand assets, and App code are owned by Tefteri and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

10. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Update, modify, or discontinue features of the App
  • Change the pricing of Tefteri Pro for future purchases (existing purchases are not affected)
  • Release new versions with different features or requirements

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App. Upon termination:

  • Your local data remains on your device until you delete the App
  • Your iCloud data remains in your account until you remove it
  • Your Firebase authentication record is deleted

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Athens, Greece.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
